ED Radiologist/Days and Evenings

The New York University School of Medicine of the NYU Langone Medical Center invites nominations and applications for the position of an ED Radiologist.  

The Emergency Radiology Section supports four emergency departments including two level 1 trauma and three comprehensive stroke centers.  These sites provide a tremendous variety of clinical material and are equipped with state-of-the-art PACS, RIS and EMRs. The section is made up of 14 full-time NYU faculty, many of whom are fellowship trained in body, neuro and ED radiology. The highly desirable schedule consists of days and evenings with no required overnight shifts

The NYU Department of Radiology is a world-renowned leader in research and clinical excellence, and the residency program is considered one of the best in the country. Emergency radiologists work closely with residents, emergency physicians and trauma surgeons, allowing ample opportunities for creative interaction and teaching.

The successful candidate will have broad imaging expertise and a strong interest in emergency imaging. Fellowship training and prior experience at a level 1 trauma center will be considered a plus.  Candidates must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology.
