STAFF RADIOLOGIST, EMERGENCY IMAGING
The Department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital is recruiting a full-time nighthawk/evening staff radiologist to join the division of Emergency Imaging.
As a Level I Trauma Center, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, and Level I Burn Center, Mass General is accredited to treat patients with the most critical injuries, and sees over 100,000 patients per year. Over 110,000 imaging examinations are performed annually in the Emergency Radiology Division, which is equipped with state-of-the-art multi-detector and dual energy CT scanners, a 1.5T MR scanner, ultrasound, and three digital radiographic rooms.
The division includes 14 dedicated emergency radiologists and runs a highly competitive 1-yr fellowship program with 4 fellows per year. We also provide comprehensive training for medical students and residents. Candidates should have completed fellowship training in a relevant imaging subspecialty and expect to participate in all clinical, research, and educational activities of the division. Emergency and/or Neuroradiology fellowship training is a plus. The current position involves night and evening shift coverage.
