ASER 2011 Annual Scientific Meeting and Postgraduate Course
September 14-17, 2011
Ritz Carlton
Key Biscayne (Miami), Florida

Children are more sensitive to radiation than adults and cumulative exposure to their growing, smaller bodies could, over time, have adverse effects. To help ensure that imaging providers account for these factors, the ASER has joined the Alliance for Radiation Safety in Pediatric Imaging in launching the “Image Gently” campaign (www.imagegently.org).

Our Mission:

The mission of the American Society of Emergency Radiology is to advance the quality of diagnosis and treatment of acutely ill or injured patients by means of medical imaging and to enhance teaching and research in Emergency Radiology.

The 2011 Annual Scientific Meeting and Postgraduate Course will be held at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne, September 14 – 17, 2011 in Key Biscayne, Miami, Florida.

Core Curriculum Illustration Project
The ASER Education Committee is proud to introduce the beginning of the Online Core Curriculum Illustration Project. The project consists of creating hyperlinks from the Online Core Curriculum to one or more exemplary cases for each diagnosis. Over the coming months, we will be expanding the project to illustrate the entire Core Curriculum, so check back periodically for updates. We are attempting to add at least 12 new cases each month.
