CLOSING
DEADLINE: June 1, 2007
- Awards Offered for Outstanding Papers and Posters!
- User Friendly
Submission Process and Quick Reviews!
- Great Dress Rehearsal for Papers Submitted to the RSNA!
The
objective of the scientific session is to foster research and
to promote and exchange new ideas in emergency radiology.
The
American Society of Emergency Radiology invites all physicians
interested in emergency and trauma radiology to submit abstracts.
The
annual meeting will include 2 scientific paper sessions and display
of scientific posters throughout the course and meeting. Because
the scientific sessions are closed sessions, for ASER members
only, we allow presentation of papers that are accepted for presentation
at national meetings such as RSNA and ARRS.

The
best oral presentation of original research by a resident or
fellow will be considered for the John H. Harris, MD Award. Presenters
must be in an accredited radiology teaching program. The recipient
will receive a certificate and $200.00.
Case
of the Day Presentations
We
are looking for challenging or interesting cases which can be
diagnosed from one to four provided images. If the diagnosis
is not imaging specific, surgical or pathologic proof should
be available for confirmation. Please provide a brief clinical
history of your challenging or interesting case. A formal abstract
is not necessary. If the case is accepted, a one page discussion
will be required for follow-up display at the meeting. For more
information, contact Dr. Andrew Gelbman at asercases@cox.net.
